Its Weird to Be Debt Free - Start Being Weird Today!

How many debts have you paid off already?

Doesn't it feel great to get one paid off! It really gets you motivated. We are blessed to finally be on paying off the mortgage.

I remember the thrill we felt to have one bill paid off after another and then finally be able to buy a home. The only debt other than mortgage now is one credit card, but all that I put on it is two recurring bills each month (internet and phone). We put as much extra on the mortgage as possible now, so when THAT one is paid off, there will be great celebrating!; ▶ Reply to This

I havent got to that stage yet as I am still making repayments on my debt, but I really cant wait to see at least one of them cleared and will be jumping for joy about it! My problem after paying some of them off (credit cards, I mean) was making sure that I never picked those cards up to use again. So far so good and it's been a few years, so I think we're past that hurdle now.; ▶ Reply to This
