Well that is a little deceiving however i have done quite well with hubpages.com
Basically it allows you to create a page and publish it in just a few minutes.
The best part is you can have your adsense code on the page so you will receive
revenue from any clicks on the ads running on the page.,
Traffic can come from 3 areas,
1 hubpages.com visitors- your pages will get some traffic from the daily visitors and members to hubpages.com
2 search engines- search engines love hubpages.com and you will see a good amount of traffic from them as long as you write good content
3 you can refer people to the pages yourself.

I think hubpages is a great place to dabble in online publishing without spending any money

I started working on HubPages a little bit but didn't have a lot of return from the amount of work I was putting in. I can definitely see the site working well for those who dedicate a lot of time and effort to it but so far it wasn't really for me.
