Mistake On Credit Report
How do you get something off of your credit report that has been paid off? Is it hard to do? I have one thing that was paid quite awhile back but it is still one my report as having not been paid. Thanks.

I don't really know the answer to this, but since I know there's software to "fix bad credit", I assume that there are debt counselors who could help, too? I'm not sure... I was under the impression that once there's a bad mark, it stays on the report for a certain number of years, but realistically it seems like in the 21st century, there MUST be a way to rectify that.
