I was making $5 or so a month between my 2 sites (one blog one site) for the last few months, but last month I made a whole 86 cents :( On the other hand, things have gotten really busy at my day job & my home computer is offline until next week, so my online endeavours as a whole have kind of suffered.
Well, it's amazing how quickly things can change in your life when Google decides to slap you. My Adsense account was disabled a couple of weeks ago for invalid clicks, whatever that means. I certainly didn't click on any of my ads, and I haven't asked anyone to click on my ads either. I don't even know which blog cause the problem. I have 7.
Fortunately, I haven't ever received a payout from Adsense and it wasn't part of my income stream, so replacing it isn't a big deal. I wasn't making anything from it anyway.
I've decided not to appeal Google's decision and I'm moving to Ad Box Professional to build my own ads using my own affiliate links. I think I'll make more money that way because I can laser target my ads to my posts.
Even though Adsense is easy, remember that it can go away with no warning and with no real explanation as to why. I am branching out to more diverse methods of placing advertising on my blogs, selling affiliate products and I'm working on getting some sponsors for my higher traffic blogs.
Good luck out there and I hope everyone heeds the warning that Google can slap you hard if it wants to.
