What are your best Marketing Methods?

I thought I'd start a question with the basics, lol. What are your best marketing methods? I think we all realize how important traffic is, and for that matter, quality traffic.

What is the one marketing method you find that works the best for you?

Good point. I have used pamphlets before at local colleges and had some pretty good results with that too. I like the business card idea too. Thanks.

Hey all,
I too am a freelance writer, and just breaking into the copywriting field. I have been doing a lot of studying and learning as much as I can about this field of writing. I am really excited as I am learning so much!

I have hundreds of articles on Ezine, but sadly...lol...none of the have my name on them....since I am a ghostwriter. I have written for many websites as well, as this is the most of my workload. I am now hoping to have time to work on my own niche websites and getting some residual income going.

After working at home, for myself, I don't know if I could ever go back to the 9 to 5 again. I for sure do not want to sell insurance again, no sirrrreeeee!

How do you get paid from writing articles? How do decide what to write about, do you have to pay money to post your articles? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, this is all new to me.

Hi Linda,
I don't mind you asking at all. This is the purpose here to share, I started off by writing articles for Associated Content as was paid for each article I submitted. Then I found out about a site called Need An Article, and I applied to be a writer for them which paid me for each article. I was able to choose the topics that were available. Now I have been able to make a name for myself and have built up a pretty good client base. I do have a website, which you need, and I have testimonials of those I have worked for. I no longer work for Need An Article as I make more on my own. But that is a great place to get started.
