A question about Associated content

Yesterday i noticed I had quite a few people sent to my blog from associated content. I followed the url that they came from, and it was from an article I wrote for asociated content. I had completely forgotten about the article. I wrote it on Sept 29th. I have never heard from them and assumed it was rejected. I can't believe that 2 month later it is published!! Does it usually take that long?
