- I am a stay at home mom of 3 and my husband and I have $20000 in credit card debt that we are working on paying off. It is so hard in this day and age, but I really, truly want to get rid of all of it and become much more practical. Thankfully the Lord continues to watch over us and bless us, but now it is time to do my part and have the faith to cut up all of my credit cards and make a vow to never use them again! I am constantly coming to My Debt Free Goal for tips and advice. I hope that I too can work our way out of debt and into true financial freedom.
- Why I Want to Be Debt Free
- I HATE the feeling of owing money to anyone, much less a bank that charges high interest rates and questionable fees. I want to set up college funds for my children. I want a good savings account that will be there should an emergency arrive and I want to have a peace that we will be financially stable at some point in the future.

Though these struggles will hold me back on earth, I know that ultimately, I am here to spread the Word to every creature about the Love of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and that my ultimate reward is in heaven waiting for me. These matters are so trivial and are for such a short time. It is most important that I let go of material things and raise my children up to Love the Lord with all their heart, for it is God who will be our final Judge and he has already taken the debt for all of our sins.
