- I want the freedom of security. I want to be able to ride the waves as they come without worrying for one second about where the money will come from. I want to be able to make decisions without having to consider the financial repercussions (within reason of course!). I want the ability to choose what's best for us as people without worrying about what's best for our pocketbooks. I'm looking foward to that time!

The Game is Afoot!
I am currently the only source of income for our family. And, as of this past weekend, I am currently on bedrest. Oh bother.
I cannot begin to tell you the panic I felt at first. I'm looking at up to 12 weeks on bedrest (hopefully more like 8) but that's a lot of time with no income. Introduction!
I have to thank Amy for the wonderful new site. I absolutely love it.
I love having a place to come and post/talk about debt, getting out of it, and staying far away from it. How many people do you know that actually say they enjoy talking about debt? Honestly, it's one of my favorite things since I've become obsessed with overcoming it.
We stumbled upon Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover back in the second half of 2005. We had been "fine" up until then. Everything was current.
