- I am a happily married, mother of two in college. My husband and I are hoping to be debt free by the end of 2010 and this includes paying off our mortgage! We are working hard and paying extra on our mortgage, have eliminated all credit card debt (finally), have no car payments and are paying for our daughters college every semester without loans!!! It is not easy but so worth the extra hard work and effort. We look forward to calling Dave and screaming "We're debt free!"
