Debt Free Weirdos

Its Weird to Be Debt Free - Start Being Weird Today!

Its funny how childhood dreams get lost in the hubub of real life. When I was a child I dreamt of being a writer. But somehow throughout my teenage and adult years that dream got lost. When I left high school; the only thing that was on my mind was to get a job to earn money.

So I got a dead end job waitressing. I hated it but loved the weekly paycheck. A couple of years later I met my partner and became a stay at home mother to two beautiful children. Somehow my dreams got even more lost at the back of my mind. I mean I had to much to do, there was the cooking, the cleaning and the never ending nappy changing.

Recently I came accross an old school report, its about 20 years old actualy. It made me remember my dreams. It kind of brought a tear to my eye because it made me realise that I did have dreams and I wasn't doing anything about them.

Here is the report. I must of been about 5 years old at the time

Did you have dreams when you were a child? Do you still have those dreams or are they lost in the hubub of life?

That's awesome. I actually wrote an article on this very subject a few weeks ago. I'll post a link to it at the bottom of this post if you are interested. Bottom line, we never really completely lose sight of our dreams, they just sometimes have a tendency to change over the years. Growing up I wanted to be a doctor more than anything. sometimes I dream of living off savings and pursuing a medical degree through a physician's assistant program (I'll need to build some savings first, though!). Who knows what the future holds for us all.
